Whenever I'm feeling like my graphic design work is filling my life with too much "clickity-clack" and not enough "thw-thw-thw-thw" (that may be the very first sewing machine onomatopoeia ever written), I start stitching.
Back in 2020, around the beginning of the pandemic when everyone was a little stir-crazy, I decided it'd be "super fun" to only wear clothes that I sewed for 30 days.
I called it "Operation: Undressed."
I drew up some original patterns, ran to Joann (wearing clothes), grabbed fabric, and got sewing so I'd have some semblance of a wardrobe for the next day, the next week, and the entire month.
